IRON MAN II

I guess all 25 movie goers had a nice time and even those who hadn't seen Iron Man could easily follow the plot, right? It's another film full of action, sci-fi and cutting-edge technology that all tend to enjoy - a marvel comic set in a superheroic universe but Tony Stark - our Iron man - has a flaw...he is dying due to his chest-mounted battery pack, his life source, which is poisoning his blood. That's why he carries a little blood monitor that tells him his blood toxicity which is relentlessly increasing. In the end, of course, he finds a solution for his life-threatening problem, inspiration for some more jokes and, as far as we are concerned, the wish to be there for the third movie of the planned trilogy - not only for the film but also for the activities :=), for entertainment, for a night out especially for those who work all day long and still find the courage to attend school at night: they are the real HEROES!!!

You are totally wrong!!!!! My next challenge is to take some adult learners to the movies - this time for "Iron Man 2".
Though not really my fave type, I'm looking forward to seeing this film not only because I saw "Iron Man" with my kids but also because the reviews are great.

School visit to... Louriçal

A week later, on the 6th May, off we went to Louriçal where we visited the convent, several other churches and a local bakery. We finally had a gorgeous lunch at a nice place called "Fonte da Pedra" - worth spending a day there, grilling meat and having a picnic ;)

Though tired and with loads of work waiting to be done, I couldn't postpone posting these pictures from last week also because there is another school visit this Thursday...
