About Me

Portugal
I am from Coimbra, Portugal, and am currently teaching in a school in Soure, about 30 km away from Coimbra. I have been a teacher of English for over 20 years and have already taught different levels and age groups. After all this time I can say I love working with adult groups because there are no coursebooks and I can create my own resources. I am an avid reader, a blogger and very curious about free tools and their implementation in the classroom.

Congratulations for your initiative to the visit of Expolíngua in Lisbon. I really appreciated...The english play was particularly joyful and fun.

This kind of events makes people get closer and makes them have knowlegde about other cultures and ways of thinking.

I think it would be great if there were more initiatives like these.

Thank you teacher Alexandra Duarte.

Hi, Odete and fatyma! I do appreciate your comments and also believe going to Lisbon / Expolingua as well as to the Museum was (and always is) a different way of learning. I am glad you liked it and found it important and useful. Why not more activities outside the classroom?? Yeah! Let's think about it now that the weather is getting better.

I loved going to EXPOLINGUA because it was a funny way to learn and to validate the required competences.
I would like CLUBE DE INGLÊS to carry on organising activities as interesting as our visit to EXPOLINGUA.

In spite of some obstacles,i liked going to Lisbon very much.
I loved the theatre play; it was easy/ single English and above all it was really funny- an`hilariating comedy. In my opinion though, everything went too fast.
Perhaps we still have an opportunity for another schooltrip
-Who knows?
Thanks for the opportunity and perseverance.
Thank you, Magda Monteiro
